Keep the project on site
A fixed dock or cabin cannot come to a shop. Our mobile unit comes to the property, with site access and the work area agreed before the visit.
Minnesota & Western Wisconsin
A trailer with peeling paint, a boat due for recoating or a cabin with tired stain. We bring dry and dustless blasting to your project from our Pequot Lakes base.
The process
We are based in Pequot Lakes and work in Brainerd, Baxter, Nisswa, Crosslake and the surrounding lakes area. Vehicles and trailers, boats and docks, decks and log homes, and equipment all need different surface preparation. We run dustless (wet) and dry blasting from one mobile unit, so we can recommend the process that fits the material. Send photos of the old coating, the surface and the work area for a free quote.
Why it works
A fixed dock or cabin cannot come to a shop. Our mobile unit comes to the property, with site access and the work area agreed before the visit.
A vehicle panel, a wood deck and a steel trailer need different treatment. We assess the surface and old coating before recommending wet or dry blasting.
Tell us whether you plan to stain, prime or paint. Removing the failed layer is one step; damaged metal or wood may still need repairs before refinishing.
Photos, dimensions and access details help us understand what needs doing. Quotes are free and based on the project in front of us.
A simple process
Show the whole project, close-ups of rust or failing finish, and the space around it. Include dimensions and what you want to do after blasting.
We assess the material, coating and access. We recommend dry or dustless blasting and confirm the work included in your quote.
With access and the work area agreed, we come to your site and strip the agreed surfaces. Plan any repairs and the next coating after inspection.
Where we use it
Old paint and surface rust come off suitable frames, panels and trailers before restoration or recoating. Thin bodywork needs a different approach from heavy steel.
We assess boat coatings and dock surfaces for blasting before repair or recoating. Send photos of the material, its condition and the work area near the water.
Peeling stain and worn finishes need to come off before the wood gets its next coat. Dry blasting suits timber that should stay dry, including log profiles with checks and corners.
Machinery and farm equipment can be assessed for removal of surface rust and old coatings. Tell us about access and the next repair or paint step when you send photos.

Common questions
Yes. We are based in Pequot Lakes and provide mobile blasting in Brainerd, Baxter, Nisswa, Crosslake and the surrounding lakes area. Our wider service area is Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
We bring the mobile unit to your site. Send your location and photos of the access and work area so we can confirm a suitable setup before booking.
Both run from the same mobile unit. Dustless blasting uses water to suppress dust. Dry blasting avoids adding water. We recommend the process after assessing the surface, coating and work area.
These are projects we assess for mobile blasting. Include photos of the surface, shoreline and nearby structures so we can discuss the material and site setup before confirming the work.
No. Blasting removes surface rust and failed coatings from suitable materials. It does not replace missing metal or repair damaged wood. Inspect the stripped surface and arrange any repairs before recoating.
Send photos, approximate dimensions, your location and the finish you want next. Show the whole item and close-ups of the areas that need work. You can also call 218-585-0442 to discuss the project.
