Cleaner Process
The water in the mix suppresses dust around the work area, which matters when the job is next to a house, a shop full of gear or a neighboring business.
Minnesota & Western Wisconsin
Wet abrasive blasting that strips paint, rust and coatings while keeping the dust down. Our mobile unit comes to you anywhere in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
The process
Dustless blasting mixes water with the abrasive to strip paint, rust and coatings from almost any surface. The water suppresses the dust cloud you get with traditional sandblasting, which makes the process cleaner for the area around the job and better suited to homes, shops and occupied sites. Our mobile unit arrives fully equipped, so heavy or fixed items never have to leave your property.
Why it works
The water in the mix suppresses dust around the work area, which matters when the job is next to a house, a shop full of gear or a neighboring business.
Pressure and media get matched to the material in front of us, so delicate panels and older surfaces get treated differently to heavy steel.
The unit travels to projects across Minnesota and western Wisconsin. No trailering a half-finished car or dismantling fixed equipment.
Blasting leaves a clean surface with a profile that primer, paint and coatings can actually bond to. Less rework, better adhesion.
A simple process
Call or email with the surface, the coating that needs to come off, the location and your timing. Photos help us quote accurately.
We assess the material and recommend dustless or dry blasting based on what the project needs. Quotes are free.
The mobile unit arrives on site, the surface gets stripped, and the project is ready for repair, primer, paint or coating.
Where we use it
Strip paint, rust and old coatings from cars, trucks, frames, panels and trailers without hauling the project to a shop. Adjustable pressure means thin bodywork gets treated gently while frames and heavy parts get the aggression they need.
Decks, fences, wood siding, log homes and outdoor structures come back to a clean start. We also strip pool coatings and clean waterline tile, removing calcium and buildup that will not scrub off by hand.
Property managers and contractors use us for coating removal, surface preparation and graffiti removal on brick, block, concrete and metal. One responsive contact from quote to completion.
Machinery, structural steel, tanks, farm equipment and trailers, stripped on site so they can move straight to repair or recoating. Mobile blasting suits gear that is too big or too busy to send away.
Hull coatings, marine growth and corrosion removed from boats, docks and watercraft. The process is matched to fiberglass, aluminum or steel so the substrate underneath stays sound.
Common questions
Most of them. We regularly work on steel, aluminum, wood, fiberglass, brick and concrete. Pressure and abrasive get adjusted to the material, so delicate surfaces are handled differently to heavy structural steel.
The water in the blasting mixture suppresses the dust cloud that traditional sandblasting throws up. There is still some mess at the work area, but nothing like a dry sandblasting cloud, which is why the process suits residential streets and occupied sites.
We assess the surface first and match the pressure and media to it. Thin automotive panels, log homes and pool tile all get a different setup than a rusty steel trailer. If we think blasting is the wrong tool for a surface, we will say so.
Yes. Revive is a mobile service based in Pequot Lakes, covering Minnesota and western Wisconsin. If your project sits outside the immediate area, call us with the location and we will confirm whether we can reach it.
It depends on the size and condition of the surface and what has to come off, so we quote each job individually. Quotes are free, and photos of the project speed the process up.
We do not take water tower or bridge work. Almost everything else across our service area is worth a call.
