Dustless blasting mixes water with the abrasive to strip paint, rust and coatings from almost any surface. The water suppresses the dust cloud you get with traditional sandblasting, which makes the process cleaner for the area around the job and better suited to homes, shops and occupied sites. Dustless Blasting FAQs
What surfaces can be dustless blasted?
Most of them. We regularly work on steel, aluminum, wood, fiberglass, brick and concrete. Pressure and abrasive get adjusted to the material, so delicate surfaces are handled differently to heavy structural steel.
Is dustless blasting really dust-free?
The water in the blasting mixture suppresses the dust cloud that traditional sandblasting throws up. There is still some mess at the work area, but nothing like a dry sandblasting cloud, which is why the process suits residential streets and occupied sites.
Will blasting damage my surface?
We assess the surface first and match the pressure and media to it. Thin automotive panels, log homes and pool tile all get a different setup than a rusty steel trailer. If we think blasting is the wrong tool for a surface, we will say so.
Do you travel to job sites?
Yes. Revive is a mobile service based in Pequot Lakes, covering Minnesota and western Wisconsin. If your project sits outside the immediate area, call us with the location and we will confirm whether we can reach it.
What does it cost?
It depends on the size and condition of the surface and what has to come off, so we quote each job individually. Quotes are free, and photos of the project speed the process up.
Is there anything you do not blast?
We do not take water tower or bridge work. Almost everything else across our service area is worth a call.
